Utility trailer tents can be an appealing option for campers. This trailer has an enclosed roof and walls as well as a bed to create a sleeping area. It provides protection for cargo while traveling. It can be used for carrying camping equipment.
The present invention provides a unique tent assembly for use with a combination utility/camper trailer. The assembly can easily be folded up and stored in a small container. In certain embodiments, the tent assembly may accept it in a sleeping position. It will then spring into position when the user positions first and second configurable panel elements.

The tent assembly of the first embodiment is made from the frame assembly 214, and the tent covering 444. The assembly can be adjusted to accommodate a variety of different sized utility trailers. This is possible by using brackets and supports that fit into the truck's bed frame. The tent assembly 210 fits inside the trailer bed 14. When the first and third configurable panel members 56 or 60 are repositioned, it springs into place to provide a sleeping functional position.
The assembly may be stored in a removable protective pouch and collapsed into an envelope-like container. The frame assembly can be removed from the table assembly. It may also have a lift facilitating device to aid in setup and dismantling. The tent assembly may be transported by the user, and can be placed on the activity area or stored in the tent bag.
A utility trailer tent set is another embodiment of the invention. The tent kit consists of a frame, stands, and brace supports. The frame assembly is made from poles that are joined with angle brackets. To allow the tent body to be attached to the frame, the frame has a skirt. The skirt is attached to a channel stock. The first and second side wall poles are attached to the first and second side wall supports. Brace supports are similar to struts. They help to stabilize the first and second configurable panels members when they're in their sleeping positions.
The fourth embodiment is where the assembly fits into a flatbed trailer. The angle brackets are arranged in a channel stock to create a frame. The retaining structure consists of a retain rail and several stay extensions that are connected to the frame. The retaining bar allows the roof to stay in place on the trailer and prevents it from falling off during transport. The retaining rail can be adjusted so that the tent kit fits in various sizes of utility trailers.

The first flap 66 is attached to the cross pole 34, and to the rail poles 35. The first flap is 66. It is the inner material of the tent. The flaps 66 and 68 can be attached to the rafter, or cross poles. The flap also has a zipper portion 68. You can attach the flap to either the right or left side of the door opening.
